The British Council Teaching Centres in Egypt is currently recruiting for Teaching Centre Assistants to assist in the smooth running of the Young Learner and other teaching centre work to supervise and ensure the smooth running of the programme

Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
To supervise young learners on British Council premises (outside lesson times).
To assist teachers in young learner lessons.
To communicate with customers as appropriate.
To carry out administrative tasks, as needed, to support the Teaching Centre.
As directed by the teaching centre duty officer, as needed, to act as rota coordinator to ensure all TCAs are deployed in line with the specific day’s rota.
In all conduct, whilst working for the British Council or on British Council premises, adhere to high professional standards according to Young Learners procedures & assigned tasks.

Job Requirements
Must be eligible to work in Egypt.
Applicants should have completed high school leaving certificate or equivalent and must be over 18 in line with Child Protection practice
Experience of working as part of a team
Spoken English level B2.
Knowledge and understanding of the needs of children and teenagers and how they learn.
Able to present information clearly and logically.
Must be available Fridays and Saturdays.
Must hold a valid Egyptian bank account.
