Job Description
The British Council Egypt is currently recruiting Exams Financial Planning Analyst who will be responsible for analysing and interpreting long & short-term financial and operational plans through management reporting, analysis and interpretation of financial trends, impact assessment in conjunction with the Regional Head in order to enable informed decisions. The role will also advise and support financial and operational development programmes for more effective and efficient working
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Ensuring accurate & compliant financial management carried out for exams through careful analysis, planning, monitoring & re forecasting for income and expenditure
Supporting non-finance exams colleagues to understand and provide required finance-related data for financial analysis, payments, planning, monitoring, re forecasting & month-end accruals etc
Working with Commercial Manager to ensure implementation of demand planning is smooth and efficient
Advising on any issues highlighted by exams or finance leadership.

Job Requirements
Post holder must be eligible to work in Egypt
University Degree.
Shortlisted candidates will either demonstrate they have met the required standard through presentation of an agreed English language certificate, or will be required to take the APTIS test and demonstrate a B2 level of English proficiency.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Operational financial management and/or management accounting.
Reporting, planning & forecasting
Analysing complex data and making recommendations to management
SAP systems experience
