Job Description
Responsible for conducting sales of Bancassurance plans provided by 3rd party providers approved by the bank to existing and new to bank customers. This could be via our internal distribution channels (Branches, Home Finance, Employee Banking, Liabilities or digital channels) or it could be via direct sources.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
To meet and exceed personal targets consistently, giving excellent service and providing clear and transparent information to customers
To ensure targeted customer strategy in place with clear focus on new business acquisition and cross sales
Achieve quality business growth through sales calling and meetings
Identify and target new target segments to build the bancassurance book and customer base
Collaborate with internal partner channels ( branches, home finance, Employee Banking, direct sales, liabilities) to increase lead referrals and business
Maintain daily activity and call report for all client meeting and calls
Meet and interview prospective clients to gather data about their personal and financial circumstances and discuss their existing coverage if any and understand their financial and protection goals
Explain the features, charges, fees of various policies and plans
Explain the different types of life protection available
Explain the different types of saving plans available
Analyze clients current insurance policies and identify if there is a life protection shortfall
Keep up to date with market competition, industry and regulatory changes and processes
Consistently promotes a customer excellence philosophy consistent with Noor Bank’s mission, vision and values
Follows up on customer complaints and queries within the agreed bank TAT
To ensure adherence and comply with all bank credit, compliance, control and operational processes, policies and procedures
To ensure that all leads and referrals are captured correctly and updated on the system
To ensure that customers are given all the correct information to be able to make an informed choice, thus minimizing complaints, claw backs, surrenders/settlements and aiding retention.
To increase the effectiveness of the branch, HF, Broker, Employee Banking and Liabilities team in sales referrals and service performance through 1) Giving feedback on leads/referrals/ appointments 2) building excellent relationships with the branch team and managers 3) Actively participating in morning huddles
To support the channel partners in coaching and developing of the sales team.
To work with your line manager to identify training needs and implement a personal development plan to improve performance within agreed timescales

Job Requirements
Bancassurance or financial qualification ( CISI, CII, or home country equivalent)
2-4 years’ work experience in this industry
Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with clients on the phone and in- person
