Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Prepare and file formality documents required for patent application fillings and trade mark fillings including assignment documents and power of attorney documents
Manage the external law firms invoices that includes reviewing the invoices, obtaining the required internal approvals, ensuring the invoices will be timely paid
Maintain an up to date share point space dedicated to IPR
Maintain an IPR docket that includes filling deadlines, office action deadlines and activities related to IPR
Maintain an internal patent databases including DIAMS
Coordinate the activities of Borouge IPR group with external attorneys
Handle all administrative and secretarial role for the IPR Department
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree with at least 3 years of paralegal / legal secretary / legal assistant experience
Sounds knowledge of international trading and manufacturing laws and regulations
Understanding of the Intellectual Property Rights processes Minimum 3 years of experience in IPR management; preferably operates in Oil & Gas, or Petrochemicals Industries.
Preferred to have Patent Agency or in organisational/national patent office and / or in polymer/process or related industs
