HSBC is currently recruiting for the role of Associate, Multinationals GBM
Establishing a detailed understanding of clients and capitalizing on the available wallet opportunities by actively searching for potential opportunities via available and potential engines.
Providing innovative high-value solutions across all product lines, gaining significant business and sustainable returns by adopting proactive outside the box thinking
Coordinate with our internal support teams and product partners in order to ensure that exceptional level of service is always provided thus reflecting a professional image of our global expertise in banking and our ability to understand and meet our clients’ needs.
Coordinate with our compliance team in order to make sure that HSBC is complying with sanctions guidelines when it comes to our clients’ dealing with sensitive countries and ensure that the exposure is within acceptable tolerance ratios.
Effectively manage money laundering, counter terrorist financing, fraud and reputational risk.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Build the Global Banking franchise value/reputation in the market place.
Assist Associate Director to increase operating income and Risk Adjusted Relationship Return across allocated portfolio, successfully defending/ serving existing business, in addition to originating new value-added revenue streams
Establish a deep understanding of the REG and Chemicals to be able to fully explore potential opportunities
Develop "trusted advisor" relationship with key decision- makers for designated clients.
Support Global Account Owners/Managers/Partners to deepen relationships and increase wallet share
Work effectively with all stakeholders to deliver a positive customer experience.
Job Requirements
Understanding of risk management and the use of credit mitigants
Strong business development skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong financial analysis capability, accounting degree preferred
Ability to undertake in depth review of industry, competitors, client and products and provide a high quality analysis of Credit risk.
Knowledge of banking regulatory evolutions
Ability to develop good working partnerships with credit and product areas
Ability to provide marketing support to Relationship Managers
Ability to establish rapport with appropriate members of client’s management team
Ability to provide good analytical support to Relationship Managers
Strong IT skills (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
Ability to research and develop themes for business meetings
Knowledge of the full spectrum of Global Banking & Markets products and services
Knowledge of HSBC Group organisation structures, credit and reporting systems
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong team player
