Job Description
Microsoft, through the Emiratization initiative ‘Tomoh’, is committed to supporting and accelerating Emirati employability through internships, on-the-job trainings, direct hiring and digital skilling program opportunities.
Tomoh offers a comprehensive six-month training program that offers globally recognized Microsoft technical and professional certifications, and on-the-job training to include mentoring, coaching, job shadowing and real-life scenario assignments. Tomoh targets top Emirati students in their last year of University with preference to candidates with a science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) background.
The program will begin in mid-December, 2020 and is divided into two key phases:
Phase one: Onboarding, skilling and development (mid-December 2020-January 2021)
Onboarding and introduction to Microsoft’s culture, business priorities and organizational structure.
Technical skilling bootcamp to obtain globally recognized Microsoft technical certifications on Microsoft’s cloud and solution areas (Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and PowerApps).
Professional and soft skilling bootcamp to develop effective interpersonal skills, creativity and innovation, time management, business etiquette and certification in Project Management.
Phase two: On-the-job training (February 2021-June 2021)
Joining a specific department in Microsoft UAE subsidiary for on-the-job shadowing and training.
Bi-weekly mentorship and coaching sessions.
Supporting Microsoft teams in digital transformation projects.
Advanced technology trainings around Microsoft solution areas including AI and Machine Learning.
Participate in Microsoft Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) (i.e. Philanthropy) activities.
Earning globally recognized Change Management certification.

Job Requirements
UAE National
Graduating between December 2020 and September 2021
Bachelor or Master degree (with preference to candidates with STEM background)
Have excellent verbal and written English and communication skills
