Dubai Holding is looking to hire a Financial / Investment Analyst who will be working on a variety of projects within the Advisory, Structuring and Projects Team reporting to the Vice-President, Investments & Portfolio Management. You will be accountable to support the Investments & Portfolio Management Team in performing several activities including financial and commercial analysis, compile presentations, develop financial models, conduct sector research, perform valuation analysis and assist in originating opportunities in relation to evaluating investments and performing portfolio management activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Review and collate financial information and develop data books with financial and commercial data
Assist in performing financial and commercial analysis of existing portfolio businesses and target companies to assess the investment risk in a company
Assist in developing clear presentations in relation to analysis and research performed in order to communicate findings to management to make recommendations on investment targets
Assist in building financial models to assess investment opportunities and valuation metrics
Conduct market research on sectors and comparable companies in order to assess the performance of the sector and comparable companies to assess the viability of investment
Assist in performing a valuation of businesses based on industry standard methodologies (e.g. DCF and multiples) in order to form a view a view on valuation to assist in negotiations with target companies
Work on multiple special projects and Mergers and acquisition (M&A) transactions to meet the workload of the IPM department
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the work of the department
Job Requirements
Currently, working as an Analyst in an investment bank or an equivalent in a consulting firm
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience working in a financial institution such as an investment bank, boutique advisory firm or the transaction team of a ‘Big 4’ firm
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant subject areas such as Investments, Accounting and Finance etc
Preferred: In the process of obtaining a CFA qualified, Chartered Accountant or an applicable qualification
Strong analytical skills and lateral thinking to solve problems
Ability to take ownership and deliver in line with high expectations and manage various stakeholders
Able to work independently and as part of a team with a fast pace and a high energy that will translate into a high quality output
Excellent organizational skills, having the ability to prioritize workload whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure
Take ownership of task and deliverables and be dedicated to meeting tight deadlines and working long hours when required
Able to summarize various reports and present key finding to management
Proven IT skills in the following programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Fluent in English, multilingual preferable
