Job Description
To support the Corporate Communications Manager in campaigns and design, with driving development and management of EKFC’s communications plan to improve employee engagement and to ensure EKFC's values, mission, vision and activities are communicated efficiently to employees and external audiences.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Implementation
Contribute to the implementation of an integrated communications strategy and marketing plan, including internal communications, plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organisation, internally and externally
Contribute to the implementation of company’s brand essence in a simple and clear, yet effective campaign
Design elements required for communication campaigns both internal and external (e.g. posters, logos, videos)
Promote the values of the brand and company and ensure consistency across communication platforms in terms of brand guidelines and brand essence.
Websites
Responsible for the content management of all web based platforms including; company websites and the internal e-newsletter
Identify areas for growth and improvement across all web channels, working with business unit managers, Emirates Group and agency partners
Contribute to the implementation and the daily management of the company SharePoint portal
PR
Developing relationships with key contacts to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline
Manage relations and build relationships with key communication contacts (e.g. EK Corporate Communications & agencies)
Monitoring press stories relating to the company and its brand, and working with EK Corporate Communications to maximise opportunities for positive PR and managing any negative PR
Point of contact for events. Responsible for assisting teams for all events set-up, collateral, PR and branding needs
Internal Communications
Identify company-wide channels and implement effective communications outputs via these channels. e.g. posters, SharePoint, e-newsletter
Monitor engagement with these channels and actively suggest enhancements to increase value to employees
Evaluate and adapt the structure of communications and suggest improvements to work processes to best fit the needs and/or support the goals of the company
CSR
Develop and implement a CSR plan by identifying areas that the company could contribute to e.g. Environment, education or local community
Develop and implement a sponsorship fund including all processes for application and approval
Identify means of conveying CSR related material to employees and external outlets and monitor this activity to identify ways in which improvements can be made to reach target audiences
Administration
Overseeing the corporate communications budget and ensuring it is fully and effectively utilised
Tracking all spend against the Corporate Communications cost centre
Managing relationships with Emirates Group Corporate Communications department and all marketing/brand related agency partners
Job Requirements
Prior experience in a communications role
Highly articulate individual with excellent written communication and presentation skills.
Personable and approachable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously whilst working to strict deadlines
Team oriented
Ability to be flexible and open to changing priorities and challenges
