Egypt Solid Waste Management Center of Excellence (ESWMCE) is announcing the availability of research internship positions that provide academic and educational opportunities for students interested in science and research.

Through our internship program, interns will have direct contact with executives and collaborate with experienced professionals.
Interns will get hands-on experience in the field of solid waste management within local and international research and consultancy projects. Additionally, the program will foster and enhance essential skills like idea generation, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, collaboration, and teamwork.
Upon successful completion of the program, interns will receive a certificate and, if applicable, will co-author in the center’s publication. Outstanding interns will be eligible to receive a cash remuneration.

Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Job Requirements
Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a bachelor or master’s degree program.
Must be majoring in one of the following areas: Environmental/Civil/Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or other closely related fields.
Must be a junior or senior within your major AND have at least one full semester of coursework remaining after completing the internship.
GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4-point scale). Calculate GPA online
Fluent in English
Availability of around 16 hours a week.
