The CIB Egypt is currently recruiting for the role of Payroll Operations Officer
To handle and process all monthly or daily transactions to employees’ accounts over the core banking system (T24), Fusion Banking Corporate Channels (FBCC), Automated Clearing House (ACH), Straight Through Process (STP) etc., maintaining full adherence to work policies and procedures
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Open staff current accounts for newly hired staff and place the restriction codes on this accounts & send the accounts to the new hires through SMS, to allow staff members to use their accounts whenever needed, Create the link between staff payroll accounts and other accounts to be used on E-Banking, and apply security restrictions on all staff accounts & staff customer numbers to ensure that no staff can access staff data except HR department.
Close current accounts for resigned employees, place block on related Debit Cards or hold/block debit on staff current accounts, in order to collect overdue loans, salaries, leaves ... etc.
Check the blocked staff customer numbers list in CR2 in coordination with retail Online Channels to ensure that no staff can access date of other staff through internet banking, and link the staff accounts to the personal accounts to be reflected on the e-banking menu
Check security reports showing staff trials or attempts to access staff accounts whether succeeded or failed to take the necessary action.
Process the payroll Straight Through Process (STP) batches, monthly loans deductions, daily memos, profit share, sales incentive and regular bonus batches on the core banking system (T24) to effect the aforementioned entries in employees’ accounts.
Process the monthly alimony deductions from the staff accounts and transfer the amounts to the beneficiaries through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) or Fusion Banking Corporate Channels (FBCC) as per the directions of the legal department.
Process the salaries transfers for seconded staff outside CIB through the FBCC, to pay the salaries to the employees on monthly basis.
Extract and analyse the staff returned Cheques report on payroll accounts and communicate with the employees to avoid due amounts on staff payroll accounts.
Track the Staff overdrawn accounts and communicate with the concerned staff in order to ensure settlement.
Coordinate with the Compliance department to ensure the appropriate flagging and coding for the employees’ personal accounts to facilitate the tracking and controlling of staff accounts.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree of Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting or its equivalent
Officer: 2 - 3 years of experience in HR operations.
Very good command of English and Arabic languages
Good Knowledge of MS Office applications
Detail oriented
Very good communication skills
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on the staff satisfaction
