HSBC is currently recruiting for the role of Assistant Relationship Manager - International Subsidiary Banking
This Assistant Relationship Manager position is responsible for working alongside a Relationship Manager, with accountability for service, risk, sales and operational delivery to achive highest customer satisfaction through:
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
pipeline, sales activity and customer service management
end-to-end credit application process including, preparation of credit applications based on thorough analysis of the financial reports, research and other data sources / market intelligence, -Up to issuance of FOL and ensure drawdowns are completed in a timely manner
supporting RMs on credit related operations
responsible to assist RM and deliver on CDD related process for respective portfolio
liaising with onshore/offshore credit, service delivery and product support teams
managing customer interaction on perfection of securities, mandate documentation
periodic and ad hoc reporting and project specific activities
preparation of call reports, research and analysis, account conduct reviews
client interaction on operational matters, complaints resolution, etc.
monitoring of accounts, timely escalation of risks as appropriate
Job Requirements
Proven ability, with a successful record of accomplishment in risk management, operational and regulatory, credit analysis and judgmental lending
Knowledge of the Commercial Banking market both globally and specifically relating to the local environment, including the competitive landscape, with a detailed knowledge of competitor propositions.
Honed analytical skills, with a strong emphasis on credit and operational risk
Visible and motivational leadership, ability to influence others
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a particular emphasis upon inspiring, influencing and negotiating in dealing with customers and colleagues
Ability to effectively plan and organize, with tenacity to drive through results
Innovative with a flair for solving problems
Commercial acumen
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, related field, or equivalent experience
Understanding of local operating markets and their corresponding span(s) of control within assigned country
Experience of driving strategic change in a matrix environment
Extensive product knowledge of CMB/GBM
