MiDBank is currently recruiting for the role of Infrastructure Architect
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Responsible for complete infrastructure design, systems analysis, security, data center operation, network & voice communication.
Acts as an expert for infrastructure teams in the planning, design, and delivery of IT solutions.
Drives short & long-term Infrastructure and technology strategies for the overall IT landscape.
Participates in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction
Communicates and validates program architecture with infrastructure team, project management team, and technology services management team.
Develops enterprise standards to ensure compatibility and integration of multi-vendor platforms.
Design and develop infrastructure blueprints for the implementation of new solutions.
Maintain a common documentation library of standardized procedures and configurations.
Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
Set Roadmap to upgrade network hardware and software components as required.
Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science
5+ years experience in a production IT environment managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas.
Key technical, design, and architecture skillset with the ability to architect or design pragmatic solutions.
Previous experience in banking and financial domains
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills, able to clearly convey complex blends of business and technical matters to a range of audiences.
Ability to write architectural design documents or review design documents provided by Others.
Must have solid knowledge of Windows concepts, Domains, Active Directory and its concepts, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, data center, and application software, Linux and Unix is a plus.
Strong working knowledge of VMware or other virtual software.
Good understanding of TCP, IP and other network protocols. Familiarity with DNS,
DHCP and other network services.
Knowledge of managing data centers in terms of systems monitoring, capacity planning and performance tuning.
Must be certified in the following (CCNA, MCSE, Cloud Architecture, RHCE, Vmware VCTA or VCTP)
