the Arab African International Bank is currently recruiting for the role of Tendering Officer - Supply Chain Management – Corporate & Support Services
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Gather the technical, financial, & budget approvals and ensure that they are revised and initially approved by the relevant parties of the bank before starting the tenders / issuing POs.
Establish and negotiate offers & contracts terms and conditions and maintain supplier relationships.
Lead the negotiation process to gain the maximum bank benefit in terms of cost & quality.
Prepare and maintain tendering records, reports and price lists.
Invite and assess supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
Maintain checklist to ensure that the required documents are received from the business for timely finalisation of the POs & contracts.
Job Requirements
Degree in a relevant subject from a recognised university plus some related certification.
Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good practical and technical skills
High level of Attention to details
Very Good Negotiation Skills
