Aero Star Aviation Services is currently recruiting for the role of Customer Service Agent
The Customer Service Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional service to airline passengers during pre-flight procedures. This includes verifying travel documents, processing baggage, managing boarding operations, and ensuring a seamless passenger experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify passenger identification and travel documents, including passports, visas, and tickets.
- Confirm flight reservations and assign seats based on passenger preferences and availability.
- Issue boarding passes and baggage claim tags.
- Collect baggage fees, if applicable.
- Provide information on baggage allowances, security regulations, and travel advisories.
- Handle special passenger requests such as wheelchair assistance and special meals.
- Announce boarding calls and manage the boarding process efficiently.
- Verify boarding passes and ensure accurate passenger counts.
- Assist with seat assignments and resolve boarding-related issues.
- Communicate with the flight crew regarding passenger details and special needs.
- Ensure on-time departures by managing the boarding process effectively.
- Address passenger inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Handle challenging passengers with tact and diplomacy.
- Maintain a calm and professional attitude during stressful situations.
- Follow all safety and security regulations.
- Report any suspicious activities or security concerns.
- Ensure compliance with airline and airport policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Education: University graduate.
- Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Airlines and/or Ground Handling Agent roles.
- Language Skills: Strong command of English, including speaking, writing, and reading.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office, Excel, Word, etc.
